Principles for Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for specific purposes and on a legal basis as further described in this Privacy Policy. The processing of your personal data is limited to only that data which is minimally necessary for the specific purposes for which it is processed. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data. We do not share personal data with other parties unless required by law or in case of a legal point. We further inform you in this Privacy Policy which rights you have and how you can exercise those rights.
Processing Personal Data
For the rental of our holiday home, we process your personal data and that of your travel companions for the following purposes:
Processing your requests via the website, telephone, or other digital channels (email & social media channels).
Entering into a rental agreement.
The legal obligation to identify persons staying in the holiday home, as well as for rental liability in case of damage.
Your reviews that you post on our website.
For the above purposes, we process the following personal data from you:
First Name & Last Name, Address, Postal Code, City, Country, Telephone Number(s), Email Address(es).
Per guest: first name & last name, country of residence, date of birth & national registration number. The identity of the guests is visually checked upon arrival; we do not need to receive a copy of the identity card from all travel companions.
Only from the person who makes the payments for the stay and is mentioned on the invoice. This person must provide a copy of their identity card when concluding the rental contract, and this is due to anti-money laundering legislation. This legislation requires us to identify our customer and verify their identity. After we have performed an ID check, we store a copy of the document.
Bank account number(s).

Sharing Your Data with Third Parties
We do not share personal data with other parties with whom we have not entered into a processor agreement. With these parties (processors), we naturally make the necessary agreements to guarantee the security of your personal data. The data you provide to us may be shared with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the above-described purposes. We use the following third parties: website manager Hostinger, Microsoft Office. Furthermore, we will not provide the personal data you provide to other third parties unless this is legally required and permitted. An example of this is that in the event of a government inspection, we must cooperate and are obliged to provide your personal data. We do not store your personal data outside the EU.
Minors
If your travel companions are minors (persons younger than 18 years), the parent, guardian, or legal representative is responsible for providing the personal data of the minors.
Retention Period
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided and base ourselves on what is legally required. The contractual rental agreement is retained for 10 years due to legal obligations, after which all personal data is deleted. Copies of IDs are deleted 5 years after the conclusion of the rental agreement.
Security
We secure the information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing. We have taken the following measures:
The content of the agreement is confidential and is made available exclusively on a "need-to-know" basis to stakeholders involved in the agreement and the respective authorities.
Our computer system where your personal data is stored and mobile phones are secured with a login code and 2-factor authentication.
Rights Regarding Your Data
You have the right to view, rectify, or delete the personal data that we have from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) to the extent that the processing is not legally required. You also have the right to have the data you provided to us transferred to yourself or directly to another party if desired. We do not apply automated decision-making to your personal data, nor do we profile you based on your personal data. We may ask you to identify yourself to respond to the above rights.
Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google+, Google Analytics)
Our website includes buttons to easily share pages on social networks. These buttons are implemented by code provided by the social media platforms themselves.
